What do you get when you combine shredded coconut, macadamia nut butter, tahini, and chocolate? A delicious vegan candy that's made with simple and healthy ingredients.
Dani Breiner created this recipe for Coconut Macadamia Tahini Candies by combining our mac nut butter with tahini, maple syrup, shredded coconut, vanilla protein powder, coconut oil, sea salt and vanilla extract. That combination sounds delicious right? Well, it gets even better. After you make the bars, you dip them in chocolate! YUM!
Ingredients
1/4 cup macadamia butter
1/4 cup tahini (or any nut/seed butter)
3-4 tbsp maple syrup
1 1/3 cups shredded coconut
2 tbsp vanilla protein (can sub with 1 tbs coconut flour if you would like or you can leave it out as well, it'll be more of a melty fudge texture!)
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
Pinch of sea salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cups chopped Hu Kitchen’s Salty Chocolate Bars
Directions
1. Combine all the ingredients besides the chocolate until dough forms.
2. Press into a lined loaf pan. Freeze until set.
3. Melt the chocolate.
4. Remove the pan from the freezer and cut into bars. Dip each bar into the chocolate and return to the freezer to set.
